It's what I do best!!!! It has been eons since I have blogged...I just don't know where bloggers find the time...Jona from Fabritopia told me last Quilt Market--That I really needed to update my blog more often...That has haunted me ever since..Thanks Jona, I lay awake at night, knowing I am letting you down!! Well, I could give the kids a bath or blog...HMMMM...
elinor and I just returned from The Denver Sew Expo...We had a fun show and it is always fun to be together and brain storm...even in pure exhaustion...I have a fabulous painting elinor did of Gracie...Ok, so maybe she is not really an angel, but we can pretend (Gracie has been having a few issues with not being blonde - like mommy..I thought we had a few more years before she became self conscious)!!! elinor is amazing..she did this painting without a photo of Gracie..just from memory!! Look at that!!!!! elinor uses Jacquard stabalized fabric to paint on...We have it available in the shop (sorry haven't got it all up on the computer yet...but, you can always drop us a line or call!!)
Meanwhile, while not blogging, we had 12 Girl Scouts come and make purses! They had a great time and loved making YOYOs with the YOYO maker!! (Let me know if you need one, we have all sizes and flowers, hearts, circles!!)
Then Linda actually finished her first project...Valentines for her husband...(always good to have a deadline!!) Yes...That is a ric rac rose...using the Michael Miller Ruffle Rac..If you haven't found any near you....let me know, we have it in the shop...So fun!! (and the rhinestone trim..what every husband dreams of for Valentines....)
AND the highlight of why I haven't had time to blog....My husband decided he needed a JEEP...I am not sure what he is going thru...as his mid-life crisis was a few earrings (yes in both ears) and a corvette...So, the Laura Croft TombRaider edition Jeep has been gracing our yard for almost a year..and never been off-road, until recently....Here are a few photos, some Nevada Pen-Striping and a fender later
YES...This is where we hit the ice, bounced back and ripped the fender...PRETTY Impresive for a beginner..You go Roger!!
So, until next time -- have fun creating something wonderful!! Beth
