notes from elinor

Getting ready for an open house means cleaning up the yard!

And thank goodness for Cousin John and Grandma's friend Robin Garner for helping get everything ready, without their help Aunt Muff and Grandma would have been even more exhausted than they were!

BACK FROM OHIO AND AFIC (artistic figures in cloth)

One of the joys of going to Columbus is the possibility of spending time at Liz Seibold, whose marvelous home has more charming "stuff" to look at than I do.  Liz is a gifted tole painter and doll maker, but she is an over the top collecter and for that my hat is off to her and my socks and my shoes as well

How you can get the POP ART BEANIE...

Pop Art Beanie....

PDF Version can be purchased for $6.00  Of course there is no additional shipping charges!

Hard Copy Version can be purchased for $9.00

I have made this hat from wools, hand made felts and manufactured felts, 100% cottons and silks from Pamela Arma's Treasures of the Gypsy.  Pamela will be handling the printed pattern on the road.  I have been accused of celebrating my own birthday, looking pretty snappy, and the entire staff on the cruise addressed me as "The Queen".  Of course all that notice might be too much for some of you but as for me it keeps me from being anonymous and feeds my soul and I'm willing to share all that with you!

WHEN I FINISHED THAT ZINE I SAID IT WOULD BE THE LAST ......

Well they are all gone, all 25 limited edition Zines.  I struggled with the tedium and it was intense but I have to admitt that seeing them all lined up and better still having them all sell so easily was great.. so dipite my ranting I may try it again.  What do you think?  We are also thinking of making a PDF of the original which would include the three new patterns and the drawing.  Let me know if that interests you?
