Among the many treasures I found at the SCRAP RECYCLING STORE were lots of fun papers. I decided to look thru some of my own keepsakes and found these. Old cards, pictures, sometimes even box tops all make great additions to a journal for texture and color. While I was in Denver with Annie Fisher , the bead queen, I learned about inchies. You guys who keep track of things know there is nothing new there but for me it was like going twords the light. So here are some inch and a halfies, ya, I spread out, and they have five elements in each one. There is stamping , thread work, water color, fabric, colored pencil, beads, photgraphs, rickrack, paper punch, sequins and bits, all on 1 1/2" squares. Fun, fun, fun!
When I look at this entry, I recall a fantastic day that I shared with my daughter, Maureen. The pictures bring back the day and all the memories that go with it. That's my kind of journal. Record your joy!
