This is my grandson, John Edward Johnson Fox. He is 16 years old and wonderful. I wanted to give him a special gift for Christmas this year since this was his year for a hope chest. I don't know if we have hope for him but we have lots of love for him. He came by our house and I had this material on the table and he actually noticed it. The material was designed by David Butler, husband of Amy Butler. The fabric was terrific. Anytime a young man expresses interest, you have to take note.
I gave John his completed quilt tonight and as you can see, it was a huge hit. Now I ask you, ain't he sweet?

You will not believe my next challenge: An all white quilt. My grandduaghter and namesake, Elinor Peace Collett Coleman, has requested an all white quilt. Since she is getting married this May, this will definately be a labor of love but what did I get myself into? Oooooy!!!!!!!!!
