Frank and Ottie Kiraly live in Hayward, California where I used to live. Some friendships must be revisited from time to time to lend continuity to your life. Because Ottie can feed you as they must have eaten in Eden. Her food is like a symphony where every ingredient is in it's best voice. She can operate on the corns on you feet that have made you miserable for weeks and she can direct your mind to high places, good books and great art. As for Frank, he is proof positive that every thing good and courageous can rise within a man despite cancer, a stroke and type two diabetes. His hands are never idle and because he takes joy in simple creations, I am lifted by that joy as well. We encourage each other.
