Family, A Craetive Opportunity
Nothing like a large family to keep you at it. Grandchildren inspire you with their wonderful take on the world. We have had babies and babies this year. So here are some more ways to interact with your grandkids, or any body's grandkids.
This doll was made by Isaac Muir and me. His mom Rachel Sanders is holding little Harper Reese Sanders. Isaac is the sweet one in the middle.
Down here, Little Joe needs a quilt before he goes to Germany.
My name sake Elinor Peace Collett Coleman and I did a journal page together. We had a lovely visit. Did I tell you, "Families are Forever".
Love Isaac's and your doll. It is adorable.Still couldn't see, Harper but I'm sure she is lovely. The other boys look great. So we are counting down.
I'm excited.
Luv ya, Muff

I love the little doll you created with Isaac. My daughter who just turned 4 created her first doll over the summer and I was one proud mom.
And yes, the time you spend with them is priceless and the memories last a lifetime.

Elinor, thanks for a wonderful workshop in Cottonwood, AZ. Your dolls are amazing and the sheer number and all the colors were almost too much to take in all at once. I'll be studying the photos I took in the coming weeks and months. I am going to lobby the shop to bring you back for the face painting workshop.
What joy! I was fortunate to see one of your dolls with a face created by a grandchild. I had the pleasure of assisting two of my granddaughters in making their first quilts this past summer and made a video diary of one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x_GH5vlkNu4
I hope to create dolls with all of my grandchildren from drawings they made, too. Their faces are so expressive and precious. Those are the sweetest ones of all.
Peace, Cathey
