Here it is the New Year and I still have some catching up to do so I'll keep it brief. In September we had the annual Sierra2Sage Shop Hop. There were 12 local quilt shops on the hop tour. The event is four days and there were some really nice prizes. I will provide more information about the one this year as soon as we have everything set. The dates will be September 5-8th so mark your calendars. It will make for a fun road trip/vacation.
Every two years we put together a Fabric Chicks and Friends Cookbook. September was the the second edition. We sold the first printing and have just had more printed. All the proceeds from the sale of the book goes back into our Wounded Soldiers Program. We meet at the shop once a month to work on quilts and make kits so others can help. We have given out 56 quilts in the past two years.
We had Donna Greenwald in the shop in October for two different classes. All her classes are three days. The next one is March 8-10th. Every class has some new techinques.
If you follow the Quilt Show circuit, you may have seen Beth as she and I were at several shows - September through November. The shows are starting again in February. See the Fabric Chicks on the Road information on the website.
This was our booth in Pleasanton, CA. - September 2012

Speaking of the website, it is getting updated more every day. So until next time...........Norma

For a short post that was really awesome. Anyway, your input is just valuable. It is what I will be needing for my next project and you have helped me a lot with this one. Thanks!
